Vintage Hostel

This is an excelent hostel, very clean, great value for money, free breakfast was good. The free wifi is great too with a modern and fun social area to use it in, theres also a foosball table there to which was fun and got a bit or a work out. The location is excelent with two metro stations 5 mins walk, one being the international train station for the eurostar. The moulin rouge is really close by as well. All in all, you wouldnt find a better value for money hostel in the whole of paris!

In the coming autumn, the Rodin Museum in Paris will be staging a face-to-face encounter between two outstanding creative artists who were only a generation apart, Henri Matisse et Auguste Rodin. Rodin was the dominant figure in the sculpture of the period while Matisse, Rodin’s contemporary for the first seventeen years of the 20th century, introduced revolutionary changes in its painting. The story of the encounters and relations between these two major artists is one that has remained unexplored until now.

“Matisse & Rodin” will put forward some fresh thinking on what Matisse, the master of Fauvism, made of Rodin, on what his works can tell us about the affinities, correspondences or differences between the two artists. On show to the public will be a wide-ranging selection of Matisse’s sculpture, an aspect of his work to which no specific exhibition has been devoted since 1975.

 Good location ~ near to Metro Anvers, train station, supermarket and places of attractions. Would recommend to anyone who is finding lodging in Paris. Not forgetting, very friendly staff, good security of the room, cosy and warm. Nice breakfast too ;o)

Great hostel. I would recommend for anyone coming to Paris. I have stayed in other hostels in Paris and I can safely say this was the best! The staff could be a little more fun though. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, hot water, good breakfast, the rooms are very warm. Thanks!

He helped me without any complaints with printing my travel documents, providing me with lots of wifi internet time, answering all my ridiculous questions and putting him in a spot many times. He is REALLY an asset to the hostel and I would like to specifically compliment his efforts and assistance.
 
Thank you for the great memories in Paris and the superior service from Nathan. I will definitely be back if I am dropping by Paris again.

We’ve been there for 2 nights and love it. We stayed on a cozy and clean room on the top floor and it was amazing. The Hostel as a great location, near public transports (like Gare du Nord), Sacre Coeur and so on. The staff is very friendly and they give us directions better than one of the ladies working on “tourism information” on Gare du Nord.
If we ever go back to Paris, we have no problems staying there again.
